With an enduring design by one of the United States' preeminent golf course architects, the Arthur Hills Course at Palmetto Dunes Resort has earned its reputation as a must-play in the Hilton Head region.

"The design of the course is timeless, with one hole flowing into the next at a languid, Low Country pace," said former TravelGolf.com writer Shane Sharp. "Hills draped the course over the original rolling dunes lines of the property, and gently snuggled all 18 holes into thick strands of palmettos and palm trees."

The renowned architect took full advantage of the natural dunes and created a rolling layout with dramatic elevation changes, to make it a visual treat for all golfers.
