A new road through the heart of Hilton Head National had been discussed for more than a decade. But the end finally came in May to nine of the course's 27 holes. Beaufort County will extend Bluffton Parkway through part of the course. As a result, the Player nine is no longer, the National nine will be known simply as "the back," and the Weed nine will be known as "the front."

Meet Michael Goldstein and Jamie Patton, world travelers. The New Zealand duo began a charitable mission at the start of the calendar year to play a round of golf every day for 12 months.
